Miss Barbie
Miss Barbie is our two year old teacher; she has been with TumbleweedZ for the past year. Miss Barbie has over eight years of child care experience. Miss Barbie has earned her CDA in Professional Infant/Toddler. This credential requires approximately one year of various courses, in addition to a presentation and review of a board members associated with the State of Wisconsin's Registry. This credential requires a great deal of time and effort, (see below) which further supports Miss Barbie's dedication to children.
The Child Development Associate (CDA) National Credentialing Program CDA Candidates complete an assessment process by which a caregiver's competence is evaluated in 5 ways:
- The Professional Resource File
- The Parent Opinion Questionnaires
- The CDA Assessment Observation Instrument
- The Early Childhood Studies Review
- The Oral Interview
Miss Barbie loves to sing with the children, so don't be surprised with all of the songs and finger plays your two year old will be singing for you.
Miss Barbie is married; she has two girls and is a grandmother. Two of her grandchildren attend TumbleweedZ. Miss Barbie enjoys music, movies and spending time with her daughter and grandchildren.
