F. Jane Behl and her husband Michael are the owners of TumbleweedZ. They have four grown children and three grandchildren. They opened TumbleweedZ in September of 2002. They made the decision to start TumbleweedZ following Jane losing her job as Chief Information Officer and Michael turning his Painting business over to their oldest son. They had depended on child care for their children for the previous twenty eight years. They realized firsthand how difficult it was to find good care. They both believe that families deserve not only a safe, loving environment, but one that teaches children the foundation of social, and academic skills required in their future.
Jane has her Bachelors' degree in Business Management, with a support in Computer Science from Alverno College. Jane has over twenty years experience in technology, as a Project Manager, working in the medical field, and banking industry. Jane has worked as a volunteer in many organized groups. She was a Girl Scout leader, taught tenth grade CCD classes at her church, was President and Secretary of Parents Club at her child's grade school, to mention a few.
Jane makes herself available to her customers daily. She can be found in the office most afternoons, otherwise you can reach her through email, or phone. Jane believes very strongly in the success of any relationship is through open communication. If you have a question, comment, concern, or would like to discuss your child, she is available to meet with you at your convenience. If she is not aware of a problem, or concern, she is unable to address it or provide a solution.
While Jane manages TumbleweedZ, Michael provides all maintenance, repairs and updates to the facility. Michael is known by the children as Mr. Mike, or Mr. Cleanz. If you should notice a needed repair, or a potential safety hazard please let Jane or the Director know. You can leave a note in the mail box on the front counter or just send a quick note via email to Jane.
