Fun with the Ones! One is a very exciting age! They love to explore and learn new and exciting things. They are just learning how to walk, talk, and understand general concepts. We teach them how to learn through play. We focus on learning our manners, (Please and Thank You) sharing, and using our words. We focus on learning and identifying our body parts, animals and their sounds, counting to five, ABC's, colors, shapes, and tons of fun songs. We also love to paint, color, glue, rip paper, and play with shaving cream...basically anything that makes a mess. We strive to make the day structured. We follow a weekly lesson plan, which we incorporate creative art, small and large motor skills, social skills, circle time, books, and songs. Everyday you will receive a daily sheet which keeps you informed about everything your child did that day. We try to make the day full of exciting things to do while they are safely in our care. All of our ones are healthy, happy, and full of smiles!
