We would like to start out by saying Welcome to the Mermaid Room! We would like to discuss some of our goals and skills that will be learned in the Mermaid Room. Your child will be learning self help skills such as toilet training, washing hands, and manners. Some aspects of circle time that we like to spend time improving on are our knowledge of numbers, shapes, colors, and days of the week (both in English and Spanish). We also begin to practice writing our names, identifying letters and numbers, colors, and shapes. We also go far and beyond to help you the parent feel comfortable in knowing where your child's strengths and weaknesses are, and to help you with ideas to get your child where they need to be at. This is a very exciting age group and we are happy to have your trust here at Tumbleweedz Learning Center.
